Hello and welcome to Completely Random, a podcast about life, love, family, friendship, adventure, and completely random stories in no particular order.

 

Let me introduce myself...My name is Kristin, and I want to share some stories for self-reflection, learning, and amusement. I've been told that I overshare and can't be friends with everyone I meet; though I know that is true, I never understood why it was viewed negatively.

 

My stories are personal, but the topics share common ground with many who may understand where I'm coming from. I'm not expecting fame or fortune, though I"m not against it, but a way to connect outside of my small world, share some laughs,  and continue to grow into the best version of myself I can be.

 

The plan is to share stories, select a word from the thesaurus my dad got me in 1989 and share a story that immediately comes to mind. The thesaurus is paperback, the Roget's II The New Thesaurus, the pages are yellowed and fragile, the blue paper binding held together by tape but no longer able to keep all the pages in place. It is one of my most prized possessions because my dad (my life mentor and hero) got it for me and because I love vocabulary and learning.
